‘Youngstock Health and Welfare Award’ sponsor at this year’s CREAM awards, Progiene, has launched a brand new website www.progiene-dairy.com . The site is home to information on the full range of services and products available, as well as the Progiene disinfectant calculator.

Progiene is independently owned  and supplies sector-leading products such as Bedzorb, Coxicur and Dual Defence, the company supplies boot dippers and calf-side scour test kits.

It is also  the only dairy hygiene business which offers AMTRA accredited training to its trade customers in the UK.

“The website has information on the range of services available to farmers which includes mastitis and hygiene investigations in the parlour and visits to undertake teat scoring and sizing to help improve teat condition and milking efficiency. Both can be easily overlooked, yet are frequently key to overcoming issues with udder health and parlour performance,” Progiene’s Alison Clark explains.

Another service on offer is a an on-farm study of herd hoof health, lameness issues and mobility scoring.  A full biosecurity audit can also be arranged.
